Buying from Hetty’s supports charity...

1% of every plant purchase you make from the website will be donated to a charity. This has been in place since our launch in 2018. The donation is calculated on the price before VAT and delivery charges.

We are proud to support the British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS). The BHPS funds research, provides advice to the public and supports rehabilitators caring for sick and injured hedgehogs across the UK.

We also support our local hedgehog charity, the Peterborough Hedgehog Hotel (PHH). Donations from Hetty’s have helped provide incubators, rehabilitation cages and a microscope for the team caring for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs in the local area.

In 2025, Hetty’s donated herbs and wildflowers for a show garden called “Cultivating Connections” at Gardener’s World Live. After the show the plants were moved on to local schools for children to enjoy.

Up The Garden Bath is a non-profit making social enterprise in Cambridgeshire that upcycles donated bathtubs into planters for schools, youth groups and community projects, helping young people connect with gardening and nature.
