Latin Name: Hypericum perforatum
Also Known As: Cammock, Common St John's Wort, Devil Chaser, Devil's Flight, Perforate St John's Wort.
It is believed that this enchanting plant was named for John the Baptist and it may well have supplemented his wilderness diet of locusts and wild honey. The flowers are a sensationally bright yellow and borne over a long season, making this a perfect choice for any planting scheme. In a summer meadow, St John’s Wort is attractive to usual garden pollinators. Medieval apothecaries credited the plant with numerous properties and even believed it deterred witches. Extracts of Hypericum have been used for centuries to treat depression and anxiety and preparations made from it are widely available. Said to have medicinal uses. Herbal tea. Can produce dye. Hardy perennial. Toxic to dogs. Please note 1 x Seed Pack = Approximately 100 Seeds An approximate number of seeds in each packet is given. How We Pack Your Order

We take great care to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition. Using recycled boxes and newspaper as often as possible, with straw placed underneath and on top of the plants to help prevent the plants moving around during transit.

Each potted plant has stakes used where needed to help protect, plants are then individually wrapped before being packed into the box.

Orders are dispatched via DPD on a 24-hour tracked service (Tuesday to Thursday), so your plants spend as little time in transit as possible.

If you have any concerns about the condition of your order on arrival, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
